Established in 1994, the International Students Program at Glendale Community College has two goals: to bring more students from other countries to our campus and to provide services to them. Our services include: - Helping with the admission process

Glendale Community College (GCC) is a fully accredited two-year institution of higher education located in Glendale, Arizona, which is next to Phoenix, the state capital. Students enrolled in GCC can complete the first half of a bachelor's degree program in a setting dedicated to quality teaching in small classes. Costs are less than at larger, four-year colleges and universities. CostsTuition for full-time enrollment is $3400 per semester. Subject to change. HousingGCC does not have dormitories. There is a homestay program for students who want to live with an American family. Apartment housing is available in the local area. Costs range from $400 to $800 per month for apartment rent. This does not include food or meals. Enrollment DatesFall semester: August to December Spring semester: January to June Summer: June, July, August (not available to new international students) Requirements for Admission- A completed application form signed by the applicant

Qualified applicants will receive a letter of admission, an invitation to orientation, and the I-20 Certificate of Eligibility for those students who need to apply for a student visa. The Intensive English Program (IEP)This special program is open to any student who already has an intermediate level command of English and who wants to prepare for a college-level academic program. Students in the program work on improving their skills in the following areas: - Reading
- Writing
- Grammar
- Listening/Speaking
- Language Laboratory
- Computer Skills
Students who successfully complete the IEP can continue in an academic transfer program. Requirements for Admission to the Intensive English Program- A completed application form signed by the applicant
