Special group sessions can be arranged for groups of 15 or more. Open University/ Concurrent EnrollmentALCI students who demonstrate language proficiency and academic eligibility may enroll in regular university classes for full credit without formal admission to the university. Contact the program for specific costs and deadlines. Housing ALCI students may live in campus residence halls, cluster apartments or in off-campus accommodations. Apartments in the area are plentiful and reasonably priced. About California State University, Chico Quality academic programs and a residential character are two of the University's most important features. CSU, Chico is part of the system of 23 fully accredited institutions known as the California State University. Established in 1887, CSU, Chico is the second oldest in the system. The student enrollment is approximately 14,000 including 500 international students from more than 60 countries. CSU, Chico offers more than 100 undergraduate and graduate degree programs and options. International undergraduate applicants must attain an International TOEFL score of at least 173 prior to enrolling in the regular University program. Graduate applicants generally must attain a TOEFL score of at least 213 before beginning their academic programs.
