History

Arizona Western College is celebrating its 40th year of continuous service to students. Yuma, Arizona was the Colorado River crossing site into California during the gold rush days. Today it remains rich in history and culture, within easy travel distance to the Pacific Ocean, mountains and water areas, archaeological and geological wonders, and California and Mexico.

TOEFL: 500 minimum for academic programs
AWC does accept students without TOEFL.
Students without TOEFL will be admitted to ESL
Placement testing: All students are required to take English and mathematics placement tests upon arrival.
ESL: 5 levels
Student-Faculty Ratio: 20:1 - Small classes
Application deadline: June 1. Late applications will be considered on an individual basis
2+2 Program with Northern Arizona University. Students can continue their baccalaureate studies at NAU without leaving our campus!

International Fees

Our tuition structure is unique! Fees will change depending upon personal needs.

Tuition Package:	12 credits: $ 2712
	13-15 credits: $ 2880
	16+: No additional fee

Room and Board:	$2050/semester
	$100 refundable deposit required with application
	Two meal plans - 4 day and 7 day

Insurance, Books and Personal:	$3,000/ academic year

Approximate cost per academic year:	$ 12,860

* This approximate cost includes 15+ credits/per semester and the 7-day meal plan.
